APS X Series
One of the most innovative screw compressor series in the Airpress range, the APS X series stands out as a unique proposition in the industrial-class compressor market. Assembled in Europe, APS X compressors are far ahead of the competition in terms of efficiency and the level of technological sophistication. These machines, with motor power ranging from 7.5 to 120 HP, are equipped with a next-generation compression module featuring an energy-efficient screw rotor profile. Additionally, they are powered by a direct drive system, which eliminates transmission losses, enabling efficient operation at minimal costs.
Equipped with modern control panels and remote monitoring capabilities, APS X compressors are easy to use, allowing continuous monitoring and easy adjustment of settings to meet your specific needs. They operate within a pressure range of 6-10 bar and are available in both fixed and, more commonly, variable speed versions, each offering varying levels of energy efficiency. You can choose from stand-alone compression units, compressors with integrated air receivers, or complete systems with both integrated air receivers and dryers.
APS X Series
APS X is our flagship series of top-performing, reliable, new-generation screw compressors assembled in Europe. Built to European manufacturing standards, they guarantee the highest quality, durability, and compliance with the strictest industry regulations.
This series offers a wide range of fixed and variable (IVR) speed models, with maximum pressures ranging from 7.5 to 120 HP (5.5 to 90 kW). Models from 30 to 60 HP (22 to 44 kW) are available with a two-stage screw assembly, providing increased power while maintaining the same energy consumption as single-stage models.
The APS X screw compressors are available in several configurations: a stand-alone unit, a compressor mounted on a tank, or a compressor mounted on a tank with an integrated compressed air dryer. All models operate at 400 volts.
The APS X series features:
- The innovative design of the screw module (screw and rotor within a single shaft) allows the use of bearingless motors. The motor is supported solely by the bearings of the screw module, completely eliminating resistance that absorbs its power.
- The 1:1 direct drive provides higher energy efficiency. 100% of the motor energy is transferred to the screw module, minimizing energy losses from the motor.
- The absence of critical wearing parts that require replacement simplifies maintenance and reduces operational costs.
- Advanced microprocessor controllers (MAM-860, MAM-6080, MAM-6090, AirVision One, AirVision Touch) provide a wide range of options to personalize the units' operation and offer full control over the compressed air production.
- Intelligent cooling with adjustable operating temperature range allows for more precise temperature stabilization within the compression system, reducing condensation in the oil system and saving energy.
- The state-of-the-art Wi-Fi module enables remote monitoring and adjustment of the compressor's operating parameters.
