APS DD Series
The APS DD Series of direct-driven variable-speed screw compressors are high-efficiency industrial machines, designed to offer superior energy efficiency. Powered by permanent-magnet (PM) synchronous motors, ranging from 10 to 20 HP (7.5 to 15 kW), they provide an energy class comparable to IE3 for asynchronous motors. All models in this screw compressor series are capable of operating within a pressure range of 5.5 to 13 bar, which, combined with a high-efficiency inverter, makes them an extremely flexible compressed air source. Available in both stand-alone configurations for custom setup or fully equipped models (with air receiver and cooling dryer), these compressors are also enhanced with an integrated filtration system.
APS DD Series: Key Features
- 1:1 direct drive completely eliminates energy losses associated with the drive ratio, ensuring maximum operational efficiency and economical continuous use.
- Energy-saving inverter automatically and continuously adjusts the motor speed to match real-time compressed air demand, operating across a broad frequency range (including above 50 Hz). It leads to up to 30% reduction in electricity consumption.
- EMC return filters integrated into the inverter ensure full electromagnetic compatibility, regardless of frequency.
- Internally and externally protected electric fan ensures optimal cooling of the compressor module and components, increasing durability and significantly extending their service life. The compressor design also includes separate ventilation and cooling for the inverter to improve performance.
- Built-in ES 4000 Standard* microprocessor controller offers extensive control over the compressed air production process in the plant, optimizing operating costs. (* On request, each model can be factory-equipped with the ES 4000 Advanced microprocessor controller, providing full control over the compressor and entire air installation parameters.)
- High-performance filter mat in the compressor inlet guarantees optimal inlet air quality, minimizes the risk of contaminants entering the compression module, and ensures trouble-free operation under all conditions.
